  • A beautiful car. Fun to drive and lots of power.

This 1993 is my second Allante. The 1993 is a far superior car to the earlier models. GM made a lot of changes to the Allante for 1993. The best changes were in the brakes and the Northstar engine. This is a fast, capable and fun car to drive. It loves to go fast. These are great cars if the owner will spend the time or the money to do the required routine maintenance. I have owned mine since 1994 and have had no major problems with the car. The 93 Allante has very comfortable seats and is a great long distance cruiser. It handles well and it just fun to drive. I own several collector cars and I get as many thumbs up and people asking about the Allante as with my collector cars. If you are going to buy one, find a nice one that has been properly maintained and you will enjoy it for years. Several of these cars have gone more than 200,000 miles and are still going strong.

A real head-turner. Car runs well - great mileage in town (22 mpg) and highway (24 mpg). For a weekend get-away there's room in the trunk for 2 suitcaeses and 2 sets of golf clubs with room left over for her to fill with shopping treasures.

I have a love hate relationship with my car. Its a Blast to drive, but hate to have to repair it. Parts are hard to come by and repairs are expensive if you are not a weekend mechanic. Resale is currently very low, so if you got a few extra dollars and you want to turn heads this is the car for you. Good investment if you stick it in the garage and just take it out on nice summer days, Allantes will start to increase in value as they gain collector status. Find one serviced by Dealers to minimize any mechanical concerns. many cars oparating well with over 200K miles.
